Firstly get it from Walmart which is 14.88 and they will ship it to your nearest walmart for free.
I love this slow cooker! I bought this cooker to roast whole chicken for my dog. it is the easiest thing. I buy the whole chicken, bring it home, unwrap and put the chicken whole straight into this cooker. Turn on high for 3 hours and it is done and it is tender and juicy. I usually put the chicken on top of a steamer rack inside the cooker so the chicken doesnt' sit in it's fat while cooking. afterwards i take all the meat off the chicken and return the bones back to the crock pot, throw in some left over veggies from the fridge, carrots, celery, onion, etc. a few peppercorn, 2-3 bay leaf, fill up with water, turn it on low and let it cook overnite. next day, you have chicken stock! I've also made oxstail stews with much success. Excellent product!
