I bought this in January, to replace my old Rival slow cooker, that I had for several years, because it was getting too hot. By March, I was coming home to boiled roasts. I contacted Hamilton Beach, and they were fine about replacing, but because it is limited warranty, I had to pay shipping/etc, about $10.00 with insurance. After 2 months of using the replacement, I am currently coming home to boiled roasts. I have started using the keep warm setting to do the slow cooking. Hopefully, someone will make a real slow cooker soon, but this is not it.
