Comment: I purchased this and it was one of my favorite kitchen items ever...until the SIXTH use when it stopped working. It is an electrical problem. SIX USES. Obviously, I do not recommend that anyone purchase this overpriced garbage.

Comment: This is a beautiful piece of equipment. However, and this is a big however, you must treat the aluminum insert with extreme care. It's more delicate than Teflon and if you use metal utensils and scratch it, it will bubble and peel. I finally had to pay big bucks to replace it. Don't replace it with the ceramic insert which is cheaper because it doesn't fit right and does crack easily.

Summary: Piece Of Trash! 2010-07-29
Comment: I only wish I had read these reviews before I purchased this overpriced trash. Like so many others, the insert cracked within a year of very light use. Although I had the receipt, I had no luck contacting customer service by phone or email. A pathetic product & company to do business with. Fortunately, there are others far more worthy. Stay away!

Summary: So good, then so bad 2010-07-16
Comment: This was an amazingly good slow cooker... until the insert randomly cracked while in use. We thought with the All Clad name and reputation and the fact that its a $200 slow cooker they might do something about it. Nope. Its so disappointing because it worked so well and we thought it would last a long time. A long time being more than a year or two. But it didn't. Would not recommend spending the money on something that won't last.
