Full to the lid it contains 18 quarts NOT 20!!!!
I wonder why no one has mentioned that it is not a 20qt POT. That would have been a big RED FLAG for me as I need 16qt batches and 5/8" head space to lid is not adequate for a rolling boil.
Decent quality 18QT pot with heavy billet bottom with marginal sheet metal handles that are sandwiched in 3/8" plastic halves.

I love this pot. I purchased it for canning and all I can say is that I am very impressed with it. I use it for tomato sauce and I can keep it at a rolling boil without having it butn. That's what counts for me. It is big enough to make a suitable batch of sauce. No problems.

I've used this for beer brewing and as a lobster pot, it's performed perfectly every time. I was leery of the lower price on this compared to some other pots with the exact same specifications, but it has been a great purchase. Save some money, get this great pot!
