I purchased this crock pot for two reasons: mulled cider at the office and overnight Irish oatmeal. For the price (under $10), this was money very well spent and it handles those two tasks perfectly. Buyers must remember that this has only one setting (low). I plan on using it for soups and stews. I would not use it for anything dry (but then again, I wouldn't use my other huge crock pot for anything dry either) because past experience has shown drier applications to cook unevenly in crock pots. In addition, it is PERFECT for two reasonable servings.

High Quality For The Price,

As noted in other reviews, there is just one "setting", but it does a fine job. The size, color and ease of cleaning make this a worthwhile purchase. I used mine for warm a buffalo chicken dip and it worked great. I wouldn't anticipate being able to "cook" anything from scratch in it, but the dip did get warm enough that it started to boil.

I wanted a crock pot for overnight oatmeal. This product over cooked the oatmeal. I needed a warm or low setting which it does not have.
