2, 2-1/2-quart each. Each individual cooker includes round, removable stoneware. Two individual temperature controls with low, high, and warm settings. Glass lids. Sleek, integrated handles. Stainless steel/black hybrid finish. Great for entertaining at dinner parties, family gathering, sporting and company events. Offers a complete meal solution with the ability to cook a main dish and side item all in one. Eliminates the need for multiple pots and pans when preparing appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Bonus: includes 2 serving spoons and individual spoon notches! Great a+ candidate - combine with trio.

3.0 out of 5 stars Oh-so-handy for smaller families, but has Rival's usual quirks -- beware!, April 6, 2010

I also have the big sister -- the Rival Smart-Pot Slow Cooker:
Rival SCVP609-SS 6-Quart Programmable Slow Cooking Crock Pot Cooker, Stainless Steel
Rival has a habit of making slow cookers that aren't all that slow -- check the Amazon reviews and they are consistent in letting you know these appliances (Rival's, that is) cook at too high of a temperature no matter what the setting. That means your food is done, and sometimes overdone, long before it should be. Grrrrr.

Rival has separated its appliance web sites -- Crock Pots are on their own separate site. Lo and behold, check on cooking tips for their crock pots and you get the following information under "Hints & Tips":

While not the most spacious crock pot in the world, this device has worked wonders in my vegetarian/carnivore home. One side with veggie roast, the other side with classic pot roast. It has made dinners incredibly easy, cleanup is a breeze, and it cooks food rather well. It does operate a wee bit hotter than other crock pots I've seen, but hasn't made a noticeable difference in cooking. Well worth the price.

This was an excellent buy but the only problem I have experienced using it would be that the temperature settings are high. The low setting cooks very high and fast. So I cook everything on low.
