Summary: Very Nice! 2008-12-29
Comment: This is my first crock pot. I did a lot of research online and this one seemed like the best one for the money. I am very happy with it and love all the features this one has over other models. The locking lid is great and clean up a breeze. I found it very easy to use, nice & simple. I like the keep warm feature. I haven't used the probe yet but do plan on it. I like that it is 6 quart size, not too small. I think I will be using this for many years. Very happy!

Summary: Great for office parties 2008-12-25
Comment: I was tired of trying to transport food to my holiday office party and have half of it spill in my car on the way there so as soon as I saw this slow cooker I had to have it. The sealing gasket works great, no spills even with soups or stews on my 40 minute commute! I especially like the probe feature, it is unique among slow cookers I have seen in the stores. Highly recommend the product!

Comment: We took the suggestion from one of the consumer magazines and purchased the "Set'n Forget Slow Cooker. We have used it several times and find it to be as advertised. It work and is easy to clean. What more could you ask?

Summary: Better Late than Never 2008-12-06
Comment: In viewing Thanksgiving recipes I read that keeping mashed potatoes in a slow cooker was a time saver as well as eliminating items that need to go in the oven. I went online and, believe it or not, there were reviews on slow cookers from Consumer Reports! This Hamilton Beach was the top pick so my search was immediately over! I was distressed since the delivery date was a month away, and I needed it for Thanksgiving. It arrived early and was a big hit. I finally used it last nite for my dinner. What a treat to walk in my door and have my dinner waiting. Sauerkrut and spareribs of all things, but it was very good. Perhaps a little brown suger - from my old cooking days - would enhance the dish. I am very pleased with this product.

Summary: Hamilton Beech Crock Pot 2008-11-23
Comment: I love this crock pot. It has two outstanding features that the others don't--The snap on lid and the "keep warm" feature. In the past I have used crock pots that would cook with the setting of a manual dial. This new Hamilton Beech model cooks for as long as it is programmed and then it will keep the food warm until you are ready to eat. That's a great feature for those days when you're running late for dinner! Plus there's the great new lid that means you can take hot dishes anywhere without a spill or leak. Outstanding product!
