This is an great cooker, and just the right size for a 4-5 pound roast. Put on low and cook overnight, and have tender roast for Sunday noon meal! Easy cleanup also.

3.0 out of 5 stars my little 'ole crock, April 1, 2010

I set my star ratings right in the middle. I see both sides of the good/bad fence with this product.

While this is a lovely crockpot with a good size, it does have it's problems. First, it has it's hotspot. If I remember to watch the pot and stir it, it is good. Second, it cooks a little hotter than it should. The soups boil on high, and have a low boil/simmer on the low settings. Both handles have broken, but with a little superglue it is fine.

I have had this crockpot for at least 5 years (?) and love it for it's size and it's initial cost to me (it was free). I also love that it came with a band to hold the cord in place. If I had to purchase another today, I would probably purchase one with a timer.
