It may be a little pricey, but well worth it. I had only known the enamel on cast iron before purchasing this stockpot, I have arthritis so this pot is more light wieght and it does an amazing job. The first thing I cooked was rice, and it made all the difference. Rice was fluffy and not underdone or overdone, I have cooked rice before in other pots, this was most excellent. I also made a beef stew in this pot, very good,I have an electric stove and before this pot the heat seemed to be distributed unevenly, it is absolutely the best pot I have and I plan to buy others very soon.

I used to have the regular Le Creuset pots for many years and loved them. Eventually the finish wore off. I noticed this one in a store and bought it on Amazon for a better price. It's so beautiful that I keep it out to look at. It's much lighter weight but evenly cooks the food. I'm thinking of getting another one in another size.

I was expecting something a bit bigger. But now that I have it - it's AWESOME. It's the perfect pot to do pasta for 2-3 people. Nice finish. Pretty little pot. :)
