Comment: This slow cooker is a nice size, and the oval shape allows me to cook a whole chicken. Digital timer counts down the time and has an automatic shut-off after 4 hours. Removable crock can be put in the dishwasher.I had not used a slow cooker for a long time, but decided it would come in handy for drier foods (such as chicken breast) and for when my husband has to eat later than I do. I made a mistake once, putting food directly into the holder. I could have damaged it, but luckily I didn't.
