Although I searched for the metal content of this item here at Amazon's listing and elsewhere, the only available info is that it is "professional weight steel construction". Well that SOUNDS good. So I ordered this.
When the pot arrived I looked in vain on the package for exactly what the stainless steel content is. There is no information on the box and no accompanying documentation. I wasn't even sure if the piece is made in the USA.

My daughter asked for a large sauce pot to make my mother-in-laws spaghetti sauce. I have an old Farberware 8 qt dutch oven/stockpot. I wanted to find something similar. This Oneida Multi Pot is large enough to hold the spaghetti sauce recipe (stainless) so no funky tastes, and functions for pasta and as a steamer. Well made and I get 3 pots for the price of one with the same high quality.

Great value for the price. A stock pot, steamer and a lobster or pasta pot with glass lid. Well made and does the job for $59. The capacity is perfect for two people.
