Product Review

"For those who love contemporary design, I did my best to take traditional enamel and give it an updated look. You'll be reaching for these items all the time to whip up a batch of soup, boil pasta and your favorite roast chicken dish. I know I'll be using them just about every time I'm cooking." - Paula Deen

2.0 out of 5 stars Great for Burning Food, January 16, 2010

We bought this stockpot because it seemed like a decent quality item and looked good. After using it, that is where the good stopped. Food is easily burned through the thin bottom...I actually burned meat that was in 1/2 gallon of water! Not easy to clean, especailly when you burn something on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Burns food and stuck to stove top, November 1, 2011

After buying this pot thinking it would be great for soups and chili, I found that everything burns very easily in it. The second time I used it, the enamel on the bottom stuck to my stove at low heat while cooking chili and came off with the burner attached. The burner is ruined and the pot has a huge chunk missing out of the bottom now. I wouldn't recommend this pot to anyone when I can probably buy some cheap off brand pot at a dollar store that is better quality.

1.0 out of 5 stars Set off the smoke detector, October 30, 2011

My wife, who is a great cook, used this for the first time tonight, and we had to throw out 16 quarts of soup that was going to be our meals during the upcoming work week. All the vegetables and pasta burned to the bottom of the pot and it started smoking bad enough to set off the smoke detector. We make a lot of soups and stews, and have never had this happen before. Not happy with this, and definitely never buying another one! Wish I'd bought it here where I could've read the reviews first!
