Multiply the functions of your electric roaster with this buffet server set from Rival. The set’s construction lets you keep three foods warm in one roaster and easily remove individual trays for refilling. Designed to fit most 18- and 20-quart roaster ovens, the set includes an enamel-coated metal frame and three anodized aluminum dishes for consistent heat distribution. Use of the server is straightforward--simply fill your roaster half-way with water and turn it on. About 30 minutes later, the unit will be ready for the serving set and hot food. Keep in mind that the server is not intended for the cooking of food, just for keeping it hot during serving. I love the 18-quart Rival roaster but am sorely disappointed in their buffet server. Both configurations (BR-200 and BR-300, which is the one I purchased) are advertised on the Rival website as having two 2-quart pans and one 4-quart pan. In reality, they both are only HALF that size (two 1-quart pans and one 2-quart pan). When I called the company, a rep said that was an error on their website, but he didn't seem concerned about correcting it, or the fact that everyone else who sells it has picked up that same incorrect size info.
Also, the buffet frame was built to fit Rival's 16-quart roaster and wobbles around inside their 18-quart roaster, even though the product info says it "fits most 18-quart and 20-quart roaster ovens." The Rival rep said this wording is meant to convey the fact that it will fit Rival's models of that size, and probably some other brands, too. If you don't mind it wobbling around, I guess it "fits."

its a very good addition to the roaster oven that i bought... it was really too big for just 1 dish... and having parties all that time, its interesting how we rarely used the roaster oven by itself... but now, with the buffet server... its like dividing the big one into 3 smaller roaster ovens... i served dips over it last party... spinach artichoke on one, cheese on the other, and nachos on the center... and the combinations are endless... very good add-on!!!

The Buffet Server is easy to use and it is beneficial all year long. Wether you are having hosting a dinner party for 25 or just 7. It's compact,but yet fits a good amount of food. Keeps everything warm for your company. YOu can use it for picnics or an elegant dinner party.
