faulty lid handle,

This thing cook ok but the hardware did not hold up. Lid handle failed after a dozen uses. Replacement lid is aprox. $10.00 with $8.50 shipping. Bummer . I'm looking for another cooker.

We bought this cooker and have used it two to three dozen times. The cooking results are good but how do you pick up the lid when the handle breaks off and cannot be replaced as an individual item. Yesterday my wife went to pick the crockpot to put it away when the lifting handle broke off in her hand. What next? We are now looking for another pot from a different manufacturer and this one goes to scrap. Too bad.
