Stiff, but with some give on the end, this large (3-1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide) spoon does double duty, serving as both a spatula and a spoon. While it more closely resembles a spatula, it has a shallow, spoonlike curve so that it can also function as a scoop. Use it to scrape and transfer cookie dough or other dry foods. The spoon's wide, oval, stainless-steel handle has a brushed finish on one side, so it won't slip out of your hand; for added strength, the handle extends halfway through the clear silicone spoon, ending in a graceful open oval.
