Comment: Perfect for pasta & big pots of Chili on those cold winter nights. I even used it as a skillet for cooking the ground beef for the chili. The non-stick surface is great and all my bamboo utinsels work well in it.

Comment: I bought this item as a combo Christmas gift/Housewarming gift for my niece. I can only comment on the past reliability of T-Fal products, but I wanted to buy her a good-quality stock pot that will last her a long time. I'm sure she'll be very happy with this! I'd definitely recommend this item to others.

So, in getting this one, I assumed it would be equal or lesser than my very expensive commercial pot.
Wrong.
I have dishes that typically burn in the other pot...probably partly because of even heat transfer or the fact that it has no non-stick characteristics or a bit of both. For the same recipes, I've had no issues with this pot. It is very light but has even heating and I can scrape the bottom more easily so things don't burn. Plus the glass lid is nice to peek into stews that are simmering without lifting the lid.
No negatives yet...it's working great for our needs.
Also, this isn't teflon for those who avoid teflon due to health concerns.
